Past Projects

“Furoshiki Paris” was held in autumn 2018 as part of the “Tandem Paris-Tokyo 2018” cultural exchange project between the city of Paris and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
A pavilion that appeared to be wrapped in a karakusa-pattern Furoshiki was set up in Paris's Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville (City Hall Plaza), as a gift from Tokyo to Paris. The pavilion featured attractions including Furoshiki exhibits, installations, and hands-on experiences, to convey Japanese culture and insights together with the appeal of Furoshiki.
